Summary
Although mild Traumatic Brain Injury (concussion) is the commonest form of brain injury, patient pathways are poorly defined, and patients sometimes lack the support required to deal with post-traumatic symptoms.
Project aims
This project will explore the healthcare systems required to deliver high quality care to these patients in the UK.
This will combine with qualitative and quantitative methods, to progress this important field. Applicants with an interest in combining patient facing research with healthcare systems research would be well suited.
